The company Knuth Neuber produces this special candle arch Frauenkirche with loving handwork and an eye for detail.
Candle arches are simply a part of many households at Christmas time, the light creates a cozy and contemplative mood.
This candle arch is a special eye-catcher, it shows us the most famous church in Dresden, the Frauenkirche, which was badly damaged in World War II and burned out and collapsed the next day. For twelve years it was rebuilt “as a symbol of the victory of reconciliation over war and destruction”. To the left and right of the lighthouse of the Frauenkirche are tall, natural-colored chip trees and detailed “Dresden town houses” next to the church are lovingly designed lantern children and Striezel children, small lanterns round off this city scene.
This arch is illuminated by five standard tea lights which are distributed over the entire arch.
