The hand-painted ore carrier figurine group from Ulmik combines traditional Erzgebirge art and modern craftsmanship in a particularly charming way. The two approximately 7 cm tall figurines depict typical work scenes that have characterized the Ore Mountains for centuries. Here, a miner transports heavy lumps of ore in a wheelbarrow, while his colleague carries two buckets filled with ore – together, the two create an authentic picture of the regional mining industry.
What’s special about them: The figurines are hand-painted with high-quality copal varnish. This special technique creates a unique high gloss finish that allows the intense colors to shine vividly and lends the details an exclusive appeal. Particularly striking are the green headdresses with red accents, the black jackets, and the delicate red and natural-colored details. Each figurine displays individual facial features, lovingly applied by hand, lending the group vibrancy and character.
Ulmik consistently focuses on passion and quality in its products, which is why the wood used is sourced locally and carefully processed. The Erzgebirge figures are ideal as gifts, collector’s items, or as decorative eye-catchers for a winter-decorated windowsill. Thanks to their timeless design, they harmonize with both classic and modern interior design styles.
With this group of figures, customers are investing in pieces of genuine, sustainable folk art that will delight generations and create an authentic Erzgebirge flair at Christmas and throughout the year.

Environmental damage caused by incorrect disposal of batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obliged to return old batteries so that proper disposal can be ensured. You can hand in old batteries at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back old batteries, although our obligation to take back is limited to old batteries of the type that we have or have had in our range as new batteries.
