WoodWick Coastal Sunset Large Hourglass scented candle.
WoodWick® scented candles offer an intense, multisensory experience that engages several senses simultaneously. They combine high-quality fragrance blends with gently crackling wicks, creating a relaxing atmosphere that appeals to the senses of sight, sound, and smell.
Each Large Hourglass Candle is carefully crafted from a plant-based wax blend. The formula incorporates essential oils to deliver a natural fragrance. At the same time, the Pluswick® wooden wick enhances the experience by crackling softly as it burns; this sound evokes the feeling of a soothing fireplace and heightens the cozy atmosphere.
During production, the manufacturer deliberately avoids sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, ensuring the fragrance experience remains pure and authentic. Furthermore, scent, sound, and light blend into a harmonious whole. The result is a balanced combination of true-to-nature fragrance, a gentle soundscape, and an atmospheric setting. All elements work together to create a calm, pleasant environment, making it easier to relax and recharge.
This carefully balanced composition creates not only a pleasant room fragrance but a holistic experience. At its core are naturalness, quality, and a harmonious interplay of all sensory impressions.

WoodWick candle care tips:
- You will achieve the best burning results if the candle burns for 3–4 hours. For Ellipse candles featuring Hearthwick® Flame technology, light the wick at one end and allow the flame to travel naturally across the wick.
- Ensure the wax melts all the way to the edge of the candle before extinguishing it—this can take between 30 and 60 minutes. Allowing the wax to pool in this way prevents “tunneling” or wax residue from forming on the sides of the glass.
- The flame height may vary at times and occasionally even appear to self-extinguish; however, this is normal. Even if you notice a “low” flame, it will continue to heat up, and the flame height should return to normal.
- Place the candle within sight and away from drafts. Always place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from children, pets, flammable materials, and other heat sources.
- Never move the candle while it is burning or when the wax is hot. For safety, only move the candle once the flame has been extinguished and the wax has cooled completely.
- For hourglass-shaped candles, the wick should be trimmed to 6 mm before each use. Due to the nature of the Ellipse candles, trimming the wick should not be necessary. The only exception is if the flame exceeds 25 mm or the candle begins to smoke.
- If you need to trim the wick, carefully extinguish the candle, allow the wick and wax to cool, and trim the wick to 6 mm by carefully breaking off the burnt edges with a cloth or paper napkin. Remove and discard any wick fragments and debris before relighting the candle.
