In the foreground of the candle arch are 2 miners with their daily work, a wagon full of ore, the wagon and the miners ‘caps are adorned with the miners’ coat of arms.
The figures, made of darker wood, form a wonderful contrast to the arch, which is otherwise rather light.
The inside of the arch shows a winter landscape with snow-covered houses in the Ore Mountains and a train with a steam engine driving over a bridge, which blows a large cloud of steam into the cold sky.
