This figure with heart, Emma with a watering can, comes from the Hobler company in Grünhainichen in the Erzgebirge, lovingly and traditionally handcrafted. The village of Grünhainichen is known far beyond the borders of Saxony as the “village of angels”.
In total, over 80 work steps are necessary before a figure is created. Precisely manufactured gauges are required for the perfect processing of the Hobler figures. A variety of gauges must be designed and built for each character. This is the only way to achieve consistently consistent series quality.
In addition, every single figure from Hobler receives a small silver heart on the left foot as an unmistakable identification mark – just a real little guy with a heart. This cute bunny is lovingly handcrafted from maple and birch wood and painted with bold, cheerful colors.
