This traditional winter child – star singer shepherd comes from Hubrig. With an eye for detail, they are made and painted by hand with lots of love and care.
When the temperatures drop and the first flakes dance in the sky, it’s time for the colorful group of winter children. Thickly wrapped in a blue coat trimmed with sheepskin, a hat on his head and gloves on his hands, the shepherd is kneeling with his flock. With a shepherd’s staff in his hand, he is lovingly looking after two little lambs, one looking up at him contentedly while he looked up the second sits on his leg.
All winter children stand on their small platform with thick winter boots, which is covered in snow and creates a particularly winter atmosphere.
