Candle arches have been decorating living rooms and window sills for many years at Christmas time and conjure up a cozy light that invites you to linger.
The candle arch is colored in an elaborate airbrush technique and is made of 3mm birch plywood. All figures are lovingly turned.
It is illuminated indirectly by LEDs and directly by 7 electric candles which are distributed on the arch.
Schwarzenberg Castle with its dark roofs and a castle tower occupy the background of the arch.
On the snow-covered castle square in the foreground you can see a grill hut in which there are delicious sausages, from the bakery opposite the smell of freshly baked,
while a pot of food is boiling over the blazing flames on the fireplace between the huts.
Various people are walking on the palace square, which is decorated with fir trees and lanterns.
The attentive observer is sure to have noticed the dog wagging its tail across the square and hoping for a bratwurst.
If you look closely, you can even see a few poinsettias in an open door.
