This matchbox – firewood for cold winters is another small miniature world from Gisbert Neuber, lovingly and detailed handcrafted.
In the past, the matchbox was mainly intended as a packaging for miniatures, until little by little the small miniature worlds found their way into them. Since then, miniature worlds have been created in the small boxes, which make eyes wide open.
With over 120 motifs, there is something for everyone and for every occasion.
Deep out of the snow-covered winter forest come a man and a woman who is walking bent over. In order not to freeze on the cold, dark evenings, the two have collected wood in the forest, which they have tied on their backs and stowed on a large sled.
The background of this matchbox is lovingly hand-painted in great detail and shows a nocturnal view of snow-covered, illuminated Seiffen with the world-famous church.
