This miniature in a matchbox – regulars’ table is another small miniature world from Gisbert Neuber, lovingly and detailed handcrafted.
In the past, the matchbox was mainly intended as a packaging for miniatures, until little by little the small miniature worlds found their way into them. Since then, miniature worlds have been created in the small boxes, which make eyes wide open.
With over 120 motifs, there is something for everyone and for every occasion.
In this matchbox we can see a rustic pub where the regulars meet weekly. Two men are sitting at the table and toasting each other with two full beer mugs while the landlady at the bar is already providing supplies.
The background of the matchbox was lovingly hand-painted in great detail and shows a window which is decorated with a curtain in the upper area as well as a large wall clock which hangs to the left of the window.
