While the first Moravian Star was originally made in the colors white/red – white for purity and red for the blood of Christ – a far wider range of colors is now available. The traditional Moravian paper stars are available in 5 different sizes between 13cm and 80cm in diameter and in 7 different colors.

The poinsettias are named after the Moravian Church, which has its headquarters in Herrnhut. The stars have been made by hand for over 160 years and have always beautified your own four walls at Christmas time. The original Moravian stars adorn many churches, towns and squares during Advent and Christmas. With these stars you don’t just have a poinsettia, but the story in your own home. The original Moravian stars consist of a total of 25 points. There are 17 square points and eight triangular points. Instead of the 26th point, the corresponding lighting is introduced at the top.

With this star, the company Herrnhuter Sterne supports NABU, the oldest environmental association in Germany, with a donation in the usual style: €1.75 with each star is doubled by Herrnhuter Sterne to €3.50.
