The “Nativity” music box from Graupner brings the most beloved Christmas motif into your home in a wind-up design that reveals new details every time you look at it. Crafted in the unique Graupner style, this music box delights both young and old during the holiday season, setting the mood for Christmas Eve year after year with the melody of “Silent Night, Holy Night.”
It is not just children who are captivated by this intricate masterpiece; adults, too, are fascinated by the exceptional craftsmanship and loving attention to detail. A music box like this often becomes a lifelong companion for the recipient, whether used as a piece of Christmas décor or given as a premium holiday gift.
More than 100 tiny wooden parts make up this high-quality music box, with skilled hands painting every single figure individually. It is powered by a durable mechanical SANKYO musical movement; simply wind it up using the small key on the bottom to set the rotating platform in motion and hear the familiar melody play. When the music stops, just wind it up again to enjoy the tune once more.
We use sycamore maple for the figures and details, while the housing is crafted from oiled pine. Premium, lightfast pigments ensure the colors retain their brilliance and vibrancy over time. Furthermore, the paints meet the strict requirements of the DIN EN71 toy safety standard; they are free of harmful substances and easily pass the saliva resistance test.
Vibrant colors, flawless workmanship, and expert craftsmanship transform the fine wood into a unique, handcrafted piece of Erzgebirge folk art.
