The chic uniform of the Knappschaft elder is lovingly and elaborately decorated with golden accents, and the Saxon coat of arms is emblazoned on his hat. With black shoes, he stands firmly on his pedestal, which is reminiscent of sparkling ore in color. His friendly face with the big blue eyes, the red bulbous nose and pink cheeks is adorned with a black mustache. In his hands he traditionally holds his pipe and a pickaxe, his saber is in the sheath on his belt. The upper part of the miner can be easily detached from the lower part in order to be able to equip the smoking figure with incense cones.
