Another addition to the owl family! A wooden mini owl, the 2025 Red Oak Owl of the Year, from the renowned Kuhnert company. Lovingly handcrafted, this mini owl complements the Diversity Owls series. Owls are considered symbols of wisdom in many cultures. Recently, they have become cult objects due to their large eyes and mesmerizing gaze.

The variety of owls, made from sustainable woods, captivates with their expressiveness and brings a smile to every viewer’s face.

The owl family has been growing steadily since 2018, with several new owl figurines being added each year.

The “Mini Owl, 2025 Red Oak Owl of the Year” wooden figurine captivates with its loving design and symbolic meaning. Crafted from light wood, it exudes a friendly and warm aura. Particularly striking about this smoker owl are its large, yellow eyes, which immediately captivate the viewer. The eyes are richly detailed and feature black pupils, giving the owl a lively and curious expression. The yellow color of the eyes harmonizes perfectly with the warm wood tones of the body and creates an expressive and friendly appearance.

In its hands, the little owl holds a red oak branch with two green acorns, clearly demonstrating its connection to the Tree of the Year 2025 – the red oak (Quercus rubra). The red oak is native to North America, but now also grows in many European forests. It impresses with its rapid growth, its bright red autumn color, and its imposing appearance. Its deeply incised leaves and distinctive acorns characterize many parks and forests.

In addition, the owl hangs a small sign on its left wing, identifying it as the 2025 Owl of the Year. This sign bears both the name “Red Oak” and the Latin name “Quercus rubra.” The artists combine loving craftsmanship with botanical knowledge in this figure, making it not only decorative but also educational.
