The candle arch starry sky presents a magical winter landscape in Seiffen, which creates an atmospheric twilight or nighttime atmosphere through a palette of gray tones in the background. In the middle of this backdrop lies snow-covered Seiffen with the world-famous Seiffen Church, which is surrounded by snow-covered houses.
A four-person choir of carolers, wrapped in black and white robes, dominates the foreground of the scene. The members of the choir hold their hymn books, the star staff and a lantern in their hands. The church and the houses are indirectly lit from the inside, creating a cozy glow that immerses the winter landscape in a festive atmosphere.
