This traditional winter child – girl on sledge comes from the house of Hubrig. With an eye for detail, they are made and painted by hand with lots of love and care.
When the temperatures drop and the first flakes dance in the sky, it’s time for the colorful crowd of winter children. Thickly wrapped up in a bobble hat, coat, scarf and gloves, the winter child rushes down the mountain on a sled with her sibling. Bright braided pigtails look out from under the bobble hat.
All winter children stand with thick winter boots on their small platform, which is covered with snow and spreads a particularly wintry mood.
