This colored Erzgebirge candlestick comes from Taulin, where it is lovingly and detailedly handcrafted.
For many people, candle arches and light tips are simply a part of the cold season; the lights conjure up a cozy glow that invites you to linger.
The Lichterspitze from the Erzgebirge is a special form of candle arches. It is lit by 11 electric candles spread out around the top. Visually, the light tip is divided into two parts.
The upper part shows the hard life underground. Miners can be seen at work, extracting the valuable ore in the narrow, dark tunnel and bringing it to the surface.
In the lower part you can see two stately and proud miners in their dress uniform next to the miners’ coat of arms. To the left of it, a woman sits and makes lace; on the right side of the light peak you can watch a nutcracker being made. The peak of lights conveys a vivid picture of mining and life in the Ore Mountains, captured by artistic craftsmanship and illuminated by warm candlelight.
This Erzgebirge light peak, colored is hand-colored in a special way using an airbrush technique, this special technique makes everything shine in strong and colorful colors.
