This smoking man Bergmann with Lore is another simple and yet impressive smoking figure of the series “Berufe” from the house of Gunter Krauss based in beautiful Kühnheide. The miner, painted with bold colors, wears a traditional miner’s outfit and a dark green hat which is adorned with the symbol of the miners. With his black shoes he stands firmly on a small pedestal, his upper body can easily be detached from the lower part in order to equip the smoker with the fragrant incense cones. Next to the smoker stands a black cart with the inscription “Glück Auf” filled with sparkling ore. In front of the miner is a large, sparkling chunk of ore and a shovel. He has a pickaxe on his shoulder and his miner’s lamp in the other hand. The friendly face with pink cheeks and large, happy eyes is adorned with a mustache, and of course there is a pipe in the mouth, as befits a good smoker. A pretty smoking figure which accompanies you all year round.
