The Picus hiker smoker is a charming and detailed figure that spreads joy and good cheer, lovingly handcrafted by the Erzgebirge Artisans Association.
The Picus hiker smoker is a lovingly designed work of art with a particularly inviting and friendly appearance. The figure stands on two black, spherical feet that give it a stable stand. Its body is round and stained in a light green that allows a natural wood grain to shine through and gives the figure a warm, lively appearance.
The hiker’s face is friendly and cheerful. His red and round bulbous nose, which characterizes his face, is particularly striking. His cheeks are rosy and give him a fresh, lively expression. One of his eyes is squinted, as if he is whistling a happy song or making a happy exclamation. The white beard blends seamlessly into his equally white hair, which peeks out from under his light green cap. The hat is also a striking detail, topped with a golden pompom that gives the figure a playful touch.
In his right hand, the Picus hiker holds a simple walking stick made of light wood, which emphasizes his role as a hiker and adventurer. A large backpack is thrown over his shoulder, which curves on his back. The backpack, made of natural wood, indicates the belongings that the hiker carries with him, perhaps provisions or small treasures that he has collected on his journey.
The figure overall radiates a warm, cheerful and adventurous mood, which is underlined by the loving detail work and the harmonious color scheme. It is a beautiful example of traditional craftsmanship and is ideal as a decorative element that creates a cozy and friendly atmosphere.
