Part of the popular forest-themed series featuring gnomes, this lovingly crafted incense smoker—”Mushroom Cottage: The Santa Gnome”—is a delightful find. Created in the Ore Mountains under the theme “Smoking Mushroom Cottages,” it is meticulously handmade using natural materials, capturing the authentic look of a woodland discovery.

A large, natural-finish mushroom cottage stands on an oval, lightly whitewashed base; its roof is a vibrant red with white polka dots—shaped like a classic fly agaric mushroom—and topped with a black chimney. When an incense cone burns inside, smoke drifts cozily from the chimney, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The mushroom’s stalk is finished in a light, natural wood tone, providing a warm, woodland foundation for the scene. The front of the cottage features a round wooden door and a round window with cross-muntin detailing. A horseshoe above the door and a small bell on the side perfectly complete this intricately detailed little house. Green fir trees of various sizes—including one with a festive white finish—along with small red mushrooms, a tiny real pinecone, and touches of red blossoms, create an evocative forest setting.

Standing in front of the cottage is its industrious resident—the Santa gnome—wearing a red hat, a red coat with white buttons, and a fluffy white beard. He holds the cord of a wooden sled, ready to pull it along behind him. Resting on the sled is a small jute sack filled with green fir boughs. A pile of small snowballs on the forest floor completes this charming winter scene.

This beautiful incense smoker is a wonderful addition to your home, not just during the Christmas season but all year round, bringing a touch of nature and the anticipation of winter into your living space. It is not just mushroom enthusiasts and Christmas fans who will delight in this beautiful little mushroom house.
