The history of the Anton Uhlmann GmbH dates back to 1881, when the great-grandfather of today’s shareholders founded the family business. Even though the focal points of the product range changed several times during this period, it was always characterized by quality craftsmanship. Over one hundred years of experience in high-quality craftsmanship still form the most important basis for the production of the products of Erzgebirgische Holzkunst®. They are reflected in the angels, flower children, crib or caricature figures of the company Anton Uhlmann GmbH, which turn to the sounds of a familiar melody on a music box or by means of the warmth of the candle light on a pyramid.
